The rectangular bevelled swing-plate in a moulded frame with scroll pediment, flanked by tiers with mahogany-lined drawers and pierced galleries, the rectangular table top above three frieze drawers, each pedestal enclosing a panelled door, on square tapering legs joined by an undertier, with brass caps and castors, stamped 'L9948' and 'GILLOW & CO', the locks stamped 'CHUBB'S PATENT 128 QUEEN VICTORIA ST ST. PAUL'S LONDON' and numbered from '850283' to '850289', the mirror hinges stamped 'COPE & AUSTIN PATENT', the underside of one drawer inscribed in pencil 'Keal 9448'
