The saucepan on three gilt foliage-moulded feet and fitted with a turned wood handle, the body finely painted with figures on horseback in landscapes within shaped scrolling gilt and black Laub-und-bandelwerk edged cartouches, the front with Holzschnitt blumen centred by the personal arms of the Elector surmounted by the Electoral Cap on an escutcheon in pretence over the Royal Arms of Poland surmounted by the Crown of Poland suspending an ermine-lined drape, the domed cover with similar scenes of figures on horseback within two cartouches divided by the Royal Arms below a gilt pinecone finial, cover with finial re-attached with metal pin and with associated damage, one foot re-glued with associated area of damage, some wear
