Hogg, 87 maps, charts and plates, 15 double-page or folding, folding letterpress table. Extra-illustrated with the engraved plate 'The Death of Captain Cook' by F. Bartolozzi and W. Byrne after J. Webber, London: W. Byrne and J. Webbber, 1785, and with the engraved double-page map 'A Chart of the Indian Ocean and Part of the South Sea, exhibiting the Track of the Recherche and Espérance' by J. Russell, London: J. Debrett, 1800. (Some variable light spotting and offsetting, light marginal dampstaining on text volumes, one map detached and with neatly-repaired tear, Russell's map torn on folds causing small losses.)
