The shallow, rounded vessel well carved as a leaf borne on a stem that rises from the base onto the side where it is mingled with the stems of further leaves and a lotus leaf and pod, the mouth rim formed by the outward-turned edges of the leaf, the semi-translucent stone of greyish-celadon color with some brown mottling and added russet coloring
