Lot 246 was given to photographer and film-maker Lou Stoumen by Edward Weston during the making of his documentary on Weston, The Naked Eye. Weston logged ten prints from this negative and it was one of the 52 images chosen by Nancy Newhall for her intended book on his nudes.
