A late Victorian composite three-piece teaset
of rounded moulded oblong form and on bun feet, each die-stamped with arabesques surrounding vacant rococo cartouches, the teapot with rising curved spout, polished wood bracket handle and die-stamped domed hinged cover with rounded oblong wood finial, the milk jug and sugar basin gilt-lined and with scroll handles, Samuel Watton Smith & Co., the teapot London 1899, the milk jug and sugar basin Birmingham 1900 - height of teapot 6¼in. (16cm.), 39oz. gross.
