of baluster form, on a rising circular foot and with a double scroll handle with shaped terminal and domed hinged cover with openwork trefoil thumb piece, ornately-chased and embossed overall with rococo flowers, foliage and C-scrolls and with a vacant C-scroll cartouche, the interior later gilt-lined, possibly Frances Crump, London 1770 - 8in.
