of tapering circular form, on an applied moulded foot and with a scroll handle scratch-engraved with two sets of initials and a later date, the rising flattened hinged cover with cast scrolling foliate thumb piece, maker's initials I.K with a pellet in between, unidentified symbols above and beneath, London 1688 - 7¼in. (18.50cm.), 28oz.
