Rectangular with canted corners, the cover engraved with a chequerboard effect, the grille formed from filigree -- 1 5/8ins. (4cms.); a George IV rectangular vinaigrette with engine-turned base and cover and simply pierced grille, Lawrence & Co., Birmingham 1822 -- 1¼ins. (3.2cms.); and a Victorian rectangular vinaigrette with engine-turned base and cover, the grille pierced and engraved with scrollwork, Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1838 -- 1in. (2.5cms.) (3)
