Oval, the base engraved with flowers and foliage, the sides engraved with a foliate frieze, the cover set with a carved cameo depicting a female being seduced by the devil, the grille pierced and engraved with an urn of flowers and scrolled foliage with crown surmount -- 2¼ins. (5.5cms.)
