JOHN DUGDALE (BORN 1960)
'I find John Dugdale to be an inspiration. After surviving multiple strokes and becoming legally blind due to AIDS, he continues to do his photography and cherish life. He is such an optimistic person. It's amazing that he makes these photographs with the little sight he has. I also like the idea that he is an 21st century artist working in a 19th century process. Photography's possibilities never cease to amaze me.' - Elton John
