An assorted lot of Japanese Arita porcelain
17th Century
Comprising two dishes painted to the centre with a bird amongst a jardinière of chrysanthemums and blossoming branches, set on a flowering rocky riverbank, within a border of stylised flower sprays and scrolling foliage, 24 - 27.6 cm. diam.; a pear-shaped jug, painted with banana leaves, 22.4 cm. high; an octagonal double gourd vase, 20.5 cm. high; and a pair of cylindrical tripod jarlets and flat covers, 7.5 cm. high, starbase crack (6)
