A Qajar damascened steel khula-khud, Iran, 19th Century
Modelled in the form of a face with horns either side of a central finial, noseguard, chainmail and plume holders, engraved with hunting equestrians and calligraphic panels; and a steel shield with a central radiating face within four bosses -- 17½in. (44.5cm.) max. wide.
