A Safavid glazed pottery vase, Iran, 17th Century
Of compressed globular form with stepped shoulder and everted rim, decorated in blue with a band of horses to the neck above further bands of lappets, the underside with Chinese style marks; and a similar shaped moulded vase decorated to the neck in blue with leafy tendrils -- 6¾in. (17cm.) max. wide. (2)
