The champagne-coloured field with an overall "vase" lattice design of bold palmettes issuing angular leafy vine, in a champagne-coloured turtle-palmette and angular vine border between rust-red narrow floral meander stripes, small localised spots of wear, a couple of small vertical splits in the border, both ends secured with backing strips, slightly dry in areas
