A GREEK BRONZE OINOCHOE HANDLE
MID/LATE 6TH CENTURY B.C.
Terminating below in a stylized palmette flanked by two curved snake heads, the top with a central lion head with thick radiating mane and two extended arms in the form of recumbent lions with remains of the vessel rim; and an Etruscan or Campanian oinochoe handle with horned palmette below, the extended arms above with twin crouching boars, chins resting on forelegs, two palmette attachment plates with remaining rivets, circa 500-450 B.C.
