An orchestral and automaton musical box by Bremond
No. 40274/93, playing eight airs (including two from Faust) accompanied by central seventeen-key reed organ, drum, castanet and six bells struck by three gilt-metal mandarin automata with moving heads and arms, in thuya and ebony veneered case with boxwood stringing, rounded corners, ormolu carrying handles, tune-sheet, pewter stringing to the interior and matching stand with apron and ebonised cabriole legs -- 29¾in. (75.5cm.) wide, the cylinder 17in. (43cm.), (one bell tooth replaced)
