She was born in Paris in 1872 and as she had two brothers, all the 19th century dolls would have been her toys. These dolls were passed down to her daughter, Christiane. The 20th century dolls was probably bought for Christiane and the baby and children clothes in lot 830 probably belongs to her as well. The vendor is the great grand child of Maris.

with bulbous, lustrous hazel eyes with darker rims to the iris, heavy brows, shaded lids, bee stung mouth showing the tongue tip, pierced applied ears, bisque shoulder plate with moulded breasts, kid-over metal jointed body with bisque arm and carved and painted wood legs, wearing original shoes and socks, white cotton pinafore with spare clothes including baby robe and nightgown --21in.
