signed on the backplate DOLLOND * LONDON, the 41½-inch long body-tube with lens cap, rack and pinion focusing, star-finder and two telescopic support rods to the feet, mounted via a compass joint to a tapering brass column with three folding inswept feet, with two eyepiece extension tubes and four astronomical eyepieces, in a fitted mahogany carrying case -- 115.9cm.
