Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1951 and its subsequent sale on 20 March 1953. It has never been offered in public before.

The manufacture of reference 1526 was launched in 1941 and according to literature, only 210 examples were made, the majority in yellow gold.
