Cal. 17''' nickel-finished lever movement, 31 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, swan neck regulator, wolf's tooth winding, minute repeating on two polished steel hammers onto two gongs, the silvered matt dial with applied baton numerals, aperture for combined month, day and date display, subsidiary dial indicating phases of the moon combined with constant seconds, in massive circular case with stepped bezel, snap on back, repeating slide in the band, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the movement in 1924. It was completed in 1966, encased in 1967 and sold on 15 July 1981.
