THE DINNER PLATES IMPRESSED 2, CIRCA 1820
Decorated in the Imari palette with the 'King's' pattern, the wide border with underglaze blue and iron-red stylized flowers and foliate scrolls, the shaped rim with a blue band gilt with zig-zag within gilt lines, comprising:
2 oval soup-tureens and covers, with gilt bracket handles, 13 3/8 in. (34 cm.) wide overall
2 oval sauce-tureens, covers and stands, 8½ in. (21.6 cmn.) long, the stand
A square vegetable dish, 9 in. (22.8 cm.) wide
A large notched rectangular platter, 21 in. (53.3 cm.) long, 15¾ in. (40 cm.) wide
2 notched rectangular platters, 15 in. (38 cm.) long, 10 7/8 in. (27.5 cm.) wide
