BLUE INTERLACED L'S ENCLOSING DATE LETTER C FOR 1755/1756, UNIDENTIFIED PAINTER'S MARK, INCISED 5

The mark of a large dot beneath the factory mark is that of an as yet unidentified flower painter and is known on wares dating from 1756-1757. Cf. David Peters, Decorator and date marks on C18th Vincennes and Sèvres Porcelain, privately printed, 1997, p. 88;
