Blue interlaced Ls enclosing date letters ee for 1782, painter's mark for for Pierre, le jeune, gilder's mark for Vincent, the cup incised 36a, the saucer incised 29
The gilt polka-dotted turquoise ground with an ochre band with a scalloped reserve painted in colours in the neo-classic style of Salembier with foliate scroll, garlands and flower sprays between narrow bands of gilt lines enclosing dots, a similar gilt band along the foot of the cup
