THE MARKS ON BOTH ABRAIDED BUT THE PENTIMENTO STILL VISIBLE, CROWNED INTERLACED L'S, PAINTER'S MARK FOR BULIDON, AND INCISED AP TO THE STAND, GILDER'S MARK FOR PREVOST TO BOTH
The ecuelle with gilt pomegranate finial and paired foliate handles issuing from the center of a single sunflower and enclosing harebells at the curve, the sloping circular stand with integral paired gilt foliate scrolls centering a broad leaf as handles, each of the three pieces alternately painted with floral still lives on marble ledges and with trophies emblematic of gardening and of love, each reserved on oval panels within gilt ciselé bands on the gilt trellis ground enclosing forget-me-nots and roses, the cover rim and stand-emblacement gilt with a berried wreath, gilt line rims
