The rectangular top with shaped hinged panels reversing to strapwork marquetry and enclosing conforming wells and flanking a hinged oval panel reversing to a mirror and further compartment over a panelled and beaded frieze inlaid with foliate arabesques, the sides inlaid with stylized foliage, the reverse unfinished, on curule-form X-supports joined by a turned stretcher, parcel gilding later, mount to frieze possibly later
