SPURIOUS BLUE INTERLACED L'S MARK, SIGNED S. POITEVIN, LATE 19TH/20TH CENTURY
Painted in a pastel palette with a maiden and putto stringing flower garlands in a wooded garden within a gilt, platinum and polychrome-iridescent surround surmounted by a vignette of a putto reading a musical score, the reverse with a lakeside view beneath a musical trophy, flanked by female herm handles, on socle and wreath cast circular foot
