GILT PORTLAND VASE MARK AND PATTERN NUMBER Z4968i, INCISED SHAPE NUMBER 3177, SIGNED (DAISY) MAKIEG-JONES, CIRCA 1920
The straight sided body with everted rim and foot, the exterior enriched in colours and gilt in the 'Torches' pattern, the foot with a 'flaming wheel' border on a blue lustre ground, the mother-of-pearl lustre interior with a similar pattern, signed on the exterior at the base
