The rectangular brèche violette marble top above a conforming frieze fitted with three panelled drawers, above two long drawers, the centre decorated sans traverse with a panel depicting a flower-filled urn, flanked by lattice-decorated panels, the sides with similarly decorated parquetry reserves, on squared tapering legs, the marble top inscribed to the underside in pen Hugo Blumenthal/5/15/29 and in pencil H. Blumenthal
