CIRCA 1880, PRINTED IRON-RED AND IMPRESSED MARKS, RETAILER'S MARKS FOR JOHN/MORTLOCK/OXFORD ST/LONDON/1884, IRON-RED PATTERN NUMBER 1392
Painted and gilt with stylised Oriental flowers and shrubs within borders of trailing flowerheads and gilt branches, within shaped rims, comprising:
Two large oval tureens and covers with gilt paw feet and lion's head terminals
Four medium oval tureens and covers
Three small oval tureens on gilt paw feet, three covers and four shaped-oval stands
Fourteen oval serving-dishes in sizes
A shaped-rectangular bowl
Twenty-four soup-plates
Sixty-five dinner-plates
(minor damages and chipping)
