LATE 19TH CENTURY, THE COVERS WITH IMITATION SEVRES MARKS
Each of tapering ovoid form, with domed covers, gilt-metal berry finials and exotic female-head handle terminals, painted to the centre with lovers and putti within landscape, the reverse with buildings before a lake and countryside landscape, within tooled and raised gilt shaped-oval cartouches of scroll, grasses and diaper-patterns, the neck gilt with a vase of flowers supported on C-shaped scroll brackets, the socle bases gilt with similar scrolls, supported on a shaped circular gilt-metal base (one chipped, broken through and restored at socle, very slight rubbing to gilding)
