QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER MARK ON BLACK-ENAMEL GROUND, AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-95)
With arched profile, decorated on each side with a dragon and phoenix confronting a double-xi character encircled by bats, above breaking waves and between flowering foliage and perching birds, the flat base with the nianhao reserved on a black enamel ground within a narrow red surround, one end with a rectangular aperture for the insertion of a key, key lacking
