UNDERGLAZE BLUE CHENGHUA SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE SQUARE, KANGXI (1662-1722)
Inspired by a Chenghua prototype, with steep rounded sides rising from a recessed base, painted and enamelled with a cockerel and a hen with their chicks pecking and roosting between flowering chrysanthemum stems issuing from rockwork, restored
