etching, circa 1890, on laid paper, the fifth (final) state, with the artist's blue monogram, with wide margins, pale light- and mat staining, two small thinned spots inherent in the paper manufacture near the mother's left arm visible only when held to light (one with an associated minute pin hole), a few pale foxmarks, minor surface soiling, old tape and glue remains at the reverse of the upper margin corners and the lower left margin corner, otherwise in very good condition, framed
