AN UNUSUAL CASE 6-SHOT 80-BORE WEDGE-FRAME SELF-COCKING PERCUSSION REVOLVER OF PRESENTATION QUALITY

With blued octagonal sighted barrel inlaid with scrollwork, flowers and foliage in silver and gold and with gold-inlaid inscription 'Warranted' in gothic letters, blued cylinder inlaid in silver with a lion, a stag, an elephant, a family of tigers and an American and an Australian sporting scene, the frame, hammer, trigger-guard and back-strap all profusely engraved with scrollwork, mostly on a stippled ground, blued safety-stop, walnut grips profusely inlaid with silver wire, dots and panels of flowers and foliage, and blued pommel inlaid with silver and gold (some missing): in original fitted mahogany case lined in blue baize, with accessories, Birmingham proof marks
