A Ru-type hu-shaped vase, 18th/19th century
the globular body covered in a crackled greyish green glaze, moulded to the shoulder with three ram heads and rising into a wide cylindrical neck, Qianlong sealmark to base -- 12i9n. (30.4cm.) high.

Lot Essay

A similar Guan type vase was sold in Christie's Hong Kong, 28 April 2003, lot 583. Another more closely related example was included in the National Palace Museum, Taiwan, Special Exhibition of Ch'ing Dynasty Monochrome-glazed Porcelain, 1981.
