A Tibetan gilt bronze figure of a lama, 17th/18th century
seated in dhyanasana on a high double lotus base, with benevolent expression, wearing long finely incised robes, his right hand raised in vitarka mudra, his left hand lowered holding a manuscript, a line of Tibetan script running around the bottom of the base -- 4 1/8in. (10.7cm.) high.
