Level: very top shoulder; bin soiled and nicked label, mahogany color, re-corked at the Château in 1994
Deep burnt orange colour. Rich mature barley sugar and apricot nose. Lots of acidity on the palate just managing to hold this wine together. Burnt flavours of apricot and glucose. A touch tart on the finish; good length. An interesting old wine now past its peak. Drink up. Bordeaux bottled, at Christie's Jan 1999 DW
