Title in decorative ribbon, legend, compass rose, the sea decorated with galleons and small ships. (Some light dampstaining, repair on verso to old fold, some worming occaisional affecting image, old stitching holes to left hand margin.)

Fine copy of Duchetti's earlier map view of the same. In 1569 Jacopo Fontana made a larger and more elaborate version (see lot 1077). Watermark not legible. Tooley 109.
