(Contents leaf detached in vol. I, some very light spotting or soiling to some endpapers). Uncut in original blue cloth, printed paper spine labels (slight wear to head of spines, corners and joints, labels darkened with some loss). Provenance: Zaehnsdorf Ltd (invoice dated 1937 made out to -- The Argus BookShop, Chicago -- Suzette Preston Morton (bookplate) -- Halsted B. Vander Poel.
