Il presente dipinto mostra affinità rispetto al gruppo stilistico che si suole ascrivere a Francesco Fieravino, e anche rispetto alla serie di tele talvolta firmate o recanti l'iscrizione 'Salv', collegata a Giovanni Battista Salvi, artista pertinente all'ambito culturale bergamasco (cf. M. Natale-A. Morandotti in AA.VV., La natura morta in Italia, a cura di F. Porzio e F. Zeri, Milano, 1989, I, pp. 209-11, fig. 238).
