Hand-modelled of gray to buff clay, the mother seated with her arms arching forward and her hands resting on her feet, the baby similarly positioned on her lap, the mother with a pinched nose and chin, projecting ears, and applied pellet eyes, with larger pellets for the breasts, the baby also with pellet eyes, decorated with diagonal stripes, some firing to black, those at the back appearing red
