Cal. 12''' RM, with nickel-finished lever movement, mono-metallic compensation balance with micrometer regulation, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions 29 jewels, minute repeating on two steel gongs, silvered matte dial with applied baton numerals, subsidiary seconds, dauphine gold hands, circular case with downturned lugs, snap-on back, case, dial and movement signed, with an 18K gold Patek Philippe buckle

Lot Essay

A similar minute repeating watch but without the subsidiary seconds was sold in Christie's Geneva, Important Pocket Watches and Wristwatches, lot 320, 18 May, 2004.

This watch is accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming manufacture in 1955 and its subsequent sale on December 24th 1958.
