Lot Essay

A student of Jaquand and Gérome, he showed at the Nationale from 1890-1914, then at the Artistes Français from 1920-1937. He received many awards including the Légion d'Honneur in 1890. The Museums of Quebec and Montreal, St.Etienne and L'Eglise du Tréport have conserved his works.
