Lot Essay

A student of Drolling, Boisselier and H.Vernet, he showed at the Salon between 1833 and 1878. He was also a student of Corot and Daubigny, received several medals and notably became Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur in 1867. His works have been conserved in many French museums.
