1770, PINK INTERLACED LS ENCLOSING DATE LETTER R, PINK PAINTER'S MARK FOR NOEL
The blue-ground upper half of the bowl reserved with interlocking gilt-edged white scrolls enclosing gilt diaper panels, a narrow shaped band of gilt oeil de perdrix ornament below the gilt dentil rim, the lower part interwoven with floral garlands, the shallow domed cover similarly decorated about a red and yellow carnation finial, within a gilt band rim (cover with minute chip to finial, bowl with very slight wear to gilt rim, two small minor scratches, slight firing fault to one side and footrim)
