TWO MEISSEN ORMOLU-MOUNTED MODELS OF PARROTS

Modelled to the right and to the left, each painted with brightly coloured plumage, the first bird with yellow and red patches to its head, a green neck and body, dark and light-blue patches to its wings and a red-tipped tail, the pale-green and turquoise plumage on the head, body and wings of the second bird with sgraffito markings, its tail and tips of its wings with green, yellow and black plumage, each perched astride tree-stumps, the first applied with turquoise foliage, the second with green foliage, mounted on contemporary square ormolu plinths with canted corders and fielded sides (chipping and slight restoration to foliage, slight restoration to some claws, second bird broken from base and restuck, chip to beak)
