Lot Essay

The Atelier d'Art at Printemps, the Parisian department store, was run by Primavera, consisting of the husband and wife team Renée Guillerée and Charlotte Chauchet-Guillerée. Founded in 1913, they also produced and sold furniture by designers such as Paul Follot and Henri Rapin. This pair of chaise longues bear particularly close stylistic affinities to the work of Paul Follot.
