A rare Steiff teddy clown
with brown tipped cream mohair, brown and black glass eyes, pronounced muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed limbs with tan pads, hump, original white felt hat with red pom-poms, white cotton ruff with red stitched trim and FF button in ear, circa 1928 --9½in. (24cm.) high (thining on back and heels, some general wear, brown tipping faded, tiny holes in hand pads and hat, not much left of top pom-pom)
