BLUE PRINTED MARK, PATTERN NO. 1440, CIRCA 1820,
printed in blue and enriched in shades of pink with birds on branches, of oblong octagonal form, comprising: 2 graduated small platters, 2 graduated open vegetable dishes, 2 sauce-tureen stands; together with 8 English porcelain 'London' teacups and saucers, 19th century, the border alternately moulded with basket weave and painted with blue baskets of flowers; a Staffordshire pearlware child's part dessert service, impressed 1 mark, circa 1820, each moulded as a green-centered white flower with spiraling petals reserved on a seeded ground, the rim edged in pink, comprising: 2 lozenge-shape dishes, a rectangular dish, and 10 plates
